Back in May 2025, we moved into our new home at 2122 Empire Blvd. With catering and food truck demand skyrocketing, we made the decision to temporarily close the Scratch Kitchen and focus on the busy summer season.

As we began renovations, we realized the project was bigger than expected. Our top priority was getting the kitchen operational for our catering and mobile events… which, by the way, have doubled this season and show no signs of slowing down! 2026 is projected to be even grander than 2025.

After a lot of thought and soul-searching, the restaurant side of our brand—The Scratch Kitchen—is officially and permanently closed. It wasn’t an easy decision. And I’m not ruling out the idea of bringing a restaurant back someday. But for now, Uncle Buck’s Kitchen & Co. is fully focused on what we do best: catering and food truck operations.
